George's favorite photograph is the one he took of Kevin as a little boy, sitting on the back of his company's fire truck, wearing his helmet and eating a popsicle. As much as the terrorist attacks temporarily shook my faith in humanity,
the attitude and purity of heart exuded by George Riley and other FDNY fathers, brothers and sons who lost their loved ones has quickly restored it.
