Broken Glasses, Souther Tower Area. I wanted to show this photo of broken glasses because it was items such as these that helped humanize the tragedy for me more. Anything of a "personal" nature hit closer to home. WHile we will always ee video of the WTC Towers collapsing, we can NEVER forrget the human beings that were inside. We never saw them in their final moments, but items such as these may help us to connect and thus remember and appreciate the beauty of human life. These glasses in particular were not worn by a victim as they were found in the case to the left, sealed/sewn shut at the top, meaning they came from the optical shop at the concourse level of the World Trade Center.
