The Women of Ground Zero. Women played a large role in the recovery operation at Ground Zero. Their efforts and role in the big picture were vital to almost every phase of the operation. Earlier I profiled a female Chaplain while here we see an FDNY firewoman holding a flag. A civilian had just been recovered and she was on her way down a steep, muddy incline to cover the hero in old glory's stripes.
