"No Words" Union Square shrine. This is the photo that made tears come out for the first time. I guess
Union Square was as good a place as any to cry. It got to me because ever since the tragedy, I kept looking for words to rationalize or make sense of things. I kept looking for some answer that never came. When I saw this, it all made sense. There are no words to express my sorrow. This note, written in oil paint, combined with the roses, candles and oil-slicked ground, finally brought it all out for me.
